Holbrook House is a, world-class bar/restaurant located in the heart of San Francisco. We pride ourselves on providing a unique and memorable experience to our guests, offering an extensive selection of handcrafted cocktails, an elegant ambiance, and exceptional service. As we prepare to open our doors to the public, we are seeking a talented and experienced Host to lead our team and set the standard for excellence in hospitaity. Position Overview: As a Host/Hostess, you will be the friendly face that greets our guests and guides them to their tables. Your positive demeanor, exceptional communication skills, and attention to detail will ensure that our guests feel valued and attended to from the moment they walk through our doors. You will collaborate closely with our waitstaff and management team to ensure a seamless dining experience for all. Responsibilities: Warmly greet guests upon arrival and manage the waitlist. Escort guests to their tables and present menus. Collaborate with waitstaff to manage table assignments and optimize seating arrangements. Provide accurate wait times and manage reservations. Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess stand and waiting area. Handle guest inquiries, requests, and special accommodations with professionalism and efficiency. Uphold our high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction. Qualifications: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong multitasking abilities in a busy environment. Positive attitude and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations with grace. Previous experience in a customer service role is a plus.
